Help us study life without an omentum.

The Omentum Project is seeking 55 women who have had their omentum removed during cancer surgery to participate in an IRB-approved research study, “Processing Salty Food with/without an Omentum.”

DO YOU QUALIFY?

•Female, ages 18-74

•Have not experienced Stage 3 or Stage 4 cancer

•No kidney disease or high blood pressure

•Not currently pregnant

WHAT PARTICIPATION INVOLVES

•Complete a one-time, at-home study (approx. 3 hours)

•Eat a specific salty food

•Record symptoms before and after eating

Special Initiative

For each completed study before September 30, 2026, The Omentum Project will donate $25 to one of the three participating nonprofit organizations:

Study Goal:

To determine if there is a difference in symptoms after consuming a salty food for women with an omentum and women without an omentum

 

Please note: there is no compensation for participation
